BharatGen: Pioneering Generative AI for India
BharatGen is one of its kind Government-Funded initiative on Multimodal Large Language Model initiative for Indian Languages. BharatGen, a suite of Generative AI tech for India’ is a pioneering initiative, under TIH IIT Bombay supported by the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The initiative brings together a consortium of leading academic institutions, with the objective of advancing generative AI technologies and an active AI ecosystem in the country specifically designed for the diverse and unique requirements of India.
