The Challenge: AI That Understands India

On 19 January, BharatGen hosted a delegation from the Government of Maharashtra, led by Rajesh Agrawal, Hon. Chief Secretary of Maharashtra, for a focused strategy discussion on leveraging artificial intelligence to strengthen public governance.

The delegation met with Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan, Amol Gite, VP and Rishi Bal, CEO, to explore how AI can be responsibly applied to improve efficiency, scalability and outcomes across administrative systems.

The interaction reflected a shared intent to align technological capability with policy priorities, enabling more effective and data-driven public service delivery across the state.
